4th-Gen Group Spotted With Big Injuries in Music Shows– Here’s ‘Truth’ Behind It

THIS sister group of a FAMOUS K-pop team drew massive attention following their recent release, especially after viewers noticed the huge bruises on their bodies.

Purple Kiss, RBW’s new girl group launched in 2021 and the sister group of the top-tier team MAMAMOO garnered attention after their recent appearance in music broadcasts.

In particular, they were continuously promoting its new mini-album, “Cabin Fever,” after its release on February 15 by attending music shows and releasing various online content.

On February 19 then, the hereinafter sextet performed in SBS’s “Inkigayo,” two of their latest songs, “Intro: Save Me” and “Sweet Juice.” As expected, Purple Kiss’s vocals were a chef’s kiss, and their unique sound truly proves that they deserve more recognition from fans, more than what they are already receiving.

Not only their vocals stood out but Purple Kiss’s dance prowess as well. Starting from their concept, the team didn’t disappoint and their performance also showed off their immense skills. Among their dance steps, a certain step where the members were seen dancing with their knees attracted attention, but for two DIFFERENT REASONS.

Initially, fans lauded this killing part, as it is a dance that can’t be achieved by anyone without proper and serious practice and training.

On the flip side, some fans were extremely worried, as the movements were risky and it could cause serious accidents and damage if it will not be done properly.

Ultimately, the latter happened, after fans noticed a huge bruise on Swan’s knees and uploaded her photos after the performance on its official social media platforms.

There is still skepticism shown by netizens until SBS uploaded the group’s photos from Inkigayo. Even after the show edited the photos, half of the members suffered injuries from the apparent knee dance.

Following this, fans immediately expressed their anger and disappointment, as the agency didn’t put significant to the members’ safety first, by giving them fancy clothes more than knee pads. Although it’s not rare for idols to perform dangerous choreo without safety gear, PLORY (fandom) explained that it wouldn’t hurt anyone to prioritize the members’ safety over style.

Meanwhile, Purple Kiss successfully wrapped up its music show in the first week of its comeback with further growth.

As soon as its fifth mini-album, “Cabin Fever” was released on the 15th, the sextet showed immense growth at home and abroad by topping the top 10 iTunes album charts in 16 countries and regions around the world, including the U.S.

Due to this, the expectation of Purple Kiss increased and fans were already focused if how will they capture global fans as it embark on its debut mini-album “DEAR VIOLET” on March 22, making its official debut in Japan.
