Unfortunately, it seems like Pitar’s criticism has reached the ears of Gigi, who had this very gracious reply.
“Actually, every production, be it a concert or a movie, there’ll be people who like it, and those who don’t. Everyone has their own expectations and standards, and I think that’s fine. I agree that I still have much to improve on, but it’s okay, I will continue on. I still have time to improve, so I hope that everyone will grant me that time for me to improve and continue doing better,” she said in an interview after her concert on February 19.
When reporters went on to ask Gigi directly for her thoughts on Pitar’s post, Gigi replied: “I don’t think this isn’t really [relevant] to me. I’ll just do my job well, and hope that those who come to see me will like it, and that’s enough.”
She also shared that she “never thought about that issue” when asked if it would be awkward when she runs into Pitar while promoting her new songs on radio.
