KBS 2TV’s “Run Into You” is a fantasy drama about the strange events that unfold when a news anchor named Yoon Hae Joon (played by Kim Dong Wook) travels to the past and runs into Baek Yoon Young (Jin Ki Joo), who is traveling through time to prevent her parents’ wedding. After getting stuck in the year 1987, the two team up to solve a mystery serial murder case.
On March 29, “Run Into You” dropped tense new stills of Yoon Hae Joon and Baek Yoon Young. In the first photo of Yoon Hae Joon, his eyebrows are furrowed as if he’s focusing intently on something. His expression is completely different in the next still where he maintains a nonchalant poker face.
Although Baek Yoon Young is an ordinary office worker in her twenties in the year 2021, she is a high school student in the year 1987. After unexpectedly travelling back in time, Baek Yoon Young looks stressed and nervous, raising questions about the dangerous situation she’s gotten into with Yoon Hae Joon.
According to the drama’s producers, Yoon Hae Joon and Baek Yoon Young have different issues they need to resolve in the year 1987, but quickly realize that they ultimately have the same goal. As they start piecing the puzzle together, their strong determination to put everything back to where it was will increase viewers’ immersion into the story.
The production team added, “Please look forward to the passionate acting of Kim Dong Wook and Jin Ki Joo that will shine in this vivid and memorable story. I hope prospective viewers will also feel the strong force of these actors that will immerse you instantly.”
“Run Into You” will premiere on May 1 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
