A South Korean singer and rapper was recently mistaken for DAWN.
A video was recently shared on TikTok, advertising a new song. Despite the caption identifying the artist, many netizens mistook him for another Korean rapper: DAWN.
The video went viral with 1.2M views and 94.8K likes at the time of writing. The comment section was filled with netizens admitting they mistook the singer for DAWN.
Some still didn’t realize it was not DAWN, though…
The singer’s real identity is Zior Park.
Zior Park is a 28-year-old South Korean singer and rapper under Beautiful Noise. He debuted on April 3, 2018, with his single “Benefits.”
But one of his most well-known songs is “BLACK FIN.”
The eccentric vibe and ginger hair could easily make someone mistake him for DAWN, as he is also known for his unique style, and he recently rocked red hair. Yet, Zior Park’s role model and inspiration is not DAWN…
It’s actually Willy Wonka of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. That certainly makes sense too. If you check out his previous concepts, you’ll see that Tim Burton also has inspired him.
