    On April 21, 1.p.m. KST, Suga finally released his highly anticipated solo debut album “D-DAY,” alongside the MV for title track “Haegeum.”

    “Haegeum” consists of hip hop elements, which were fused with the titular, traditional Korean string instrument haegeum.

    According to the Episode 19 of “IU’s Palette” where Suga was guested, the song’s meaning can also refer to “lifting a ban and allowing something that was forbidden.” It also implies the concept of “freedom” to those who appears free on the outside, but are restricted by society and their daily routines.

    On April 2, BIGHIT MUSIC posted a notice on BTS’s Weverse account, announcing Suga’s first official solo album titled “D-DAY.” The agency stated that “D-DAY” would finally conclude the trilogy of Suga’s alter-ego Agust D.

    The agency also encouraged fans to support the trilogy’s last chapter. Furthermore, they followed up the release date of pre-release track “People Pt. 2,” as well as future activities including a world tour and a documentary titled “SUGA: Road to D-DAY.”
