Veteran HK Actor Lee Lung Kei, 72, To Marry 36-Year-Old Artist Girlfriend This Year

Wedding bells are set to ring for veteran Hong Kong actor Lee Lung Kei, 72, and his 36-year-old Chinese artist girlfriend Chris Wong.

Lung Kei recently shared in an interview that he and Chris, whom he has been dating for four years, will tie the knot this year… if things go as planned.

While he refers to Chris as his wife, Lung Kei revealed that they are not married.

“She said that if we want to get married, I have to first ask my prospective parents-in-law how much betrothal gifts they want,” he shared.

Lung Kei was supposed to go to China to meet the parents and ask for her hand in marriage, but his plans were foiled by the pandemic.

“If there are no hiccups, we will [wed] this year, but I will keep it low-key. I will not hold a wedding banquet, just call a few pals together for a simple meal,” he said.

Chris did not seem too pleased with the plans though, telling the reporter: “We’ll see!”
